I 100% agree with you it seams like everybody sells there csrds and just trys to make a profit off of it. Im in it for fun, I love collecting memoribilia of some of my favorite players and legendary players but it seams like 90% of people sell there cards. I have sold like 1 card and itr was to get more cards. Also, I agree with loflo if i really really like a card i dont care about bv or sv im going after it with as much as it takes to get it. I hate when someone pulls like an amazing card and says its on ebay immediatley. Its like they dont even deserve that card. Id rather have some little kid pull that and just see them hold onto it forever then some guy who says sweet now im going to make a profit.

I couldn't have said it better myself bro. I never understood or ever thought about "investing" in players, I collect players I like and the Raiders.

Mods I was not sure where to post this so if you could move it to where it needs to be would be great. I put it in here as this is where I do all my stuff.

When did sports cards turn into money and not a hobby? I think it happened around the time Tom Brady took off. Honestly I am a huge Oakland Raiders fan and do you think I will ever get a Darren McFadden? To answer that it is a no,unless I pull one. The reason being whenever someone has one they want twice the bv and do not care about what it will mean to the person getting it. I have traded Higher end cards I have pulled to other people for alot lower stuff cause I know they will enjoy it more then I ever will. I guess I was hoping for someone to return the favor. I today seen a McFadden auto and thought well I will try AGAIN to trade for one. The response I got was "He will sell it on E-bay cause the price he will get and he is a powerseller". I just think that this hobby has takin a turn for the worse. Whatever happened to just trading some cards? If you do not have Adrian Peterson,Brett Favre,Darren McFadden or 1/1's its like you have nothing nobody wants. I am not trying to upset anyone I just want people to stop and think.

I agree. I have tried to trade with you and you ignore my pms. Go figure.

When you are dealing with a hot rookie like Dmac the best approach is to get the low end stuff out of the way first. Things like press pass, sage, and score come to mind. More often than not the prices of rookie stuff fall towards the middle or end of the season unless they are having a freakish season which isn't the norm.

I went through the same thiung with Vernon Davis. I couldn't touch his stuff in 06 but now I can get high end items for 20 or less on many things.
