Possible Knicks/Grizzlies trade

Grizzlies would get: Zach Randolph
Knicks would get: Darko Milicic and Marko Jaric
I'd rather have Zach Randolph but apparently the benefit is that the Knicks would get rid of his salary.

Clear some salary yes but also acquire more garbage which includes another guard they have no use for

dumbest trade if they go through w/ it. The knicks have a good team right now. trading away Randolph for 2 crappy people is a waste

Marko Jaric is being paid $9+ million per year over the next 3 I believe....that would be a horrid move, even for the Knicks.

Biggest news from this is I just realzied that Darko and Marko are on the same team! Shame they aren't related.
This is a good cap move for the Knicks. Grizz...ah who knows what they are doing.

It's a good trade cap wise I guess. The knicks would unload Zach Randolph which I think does not fit on the new Knicks system. Darko should do well as a Knick. Now as far as Jaric is concerned they should just trade him again if they get him.

Perhaps this is a sign the Knicks are preparing for LeBron in 2010? Maybe not. Either way, this deal doesn't look like it's going to help or hurt either team.
