What????? Come on now. He shut down the Yankees when he was with the Marlins, and if it weren't for his pitching, they would've never stood a chance. Also, look back to last year, Red Sox down 3-1 to the Indians, they start Beckett in game 5 and he shut down the Indians and it lead to them coming back and winning the series.

.... i will agree that beckett is a bad a** BUT i would like to see a head to head pitching dual between lincecum and beckett.... if san fran had some power hitters ( fred lewis is not bad) and some players that could actually get on base and a bullpin worth a dam lincy would have several more wins this year... the bullpin loses it for him every time and it doesnt matter if you have a no hitter if your team cant score....
