This week's garbage!!
Gloomy day here in jersey, figured I'd post up the mail early today.
Pretty much all Portis stuff this week. A few issues though. The Leaf Certified Card, which cost me $2.50 to ship, came in a .42 cent envelope with no toploader. Yeah I feel a negative there. Other cards I have waited on for almost 2 months, and they are still not here yet. I also have 3/4 of the 2008 Topps Gold Skins team set completed from this week, if any of you guys have any please let me know. On to the cards...
2002 Leaf Certified #/d to 800
-My 4th version of this card. Have 3 different navy fabric swatches and now this sweet orange piece, not fabric though. I think it is a screened piece from somewhere, dont know where the Broncos have that on their jersey's though...
If anyone knows where there is a version with a white swatch please LMK.

2002 Sage HIT Rarified Gold #/d to 100

2006 Finest Blue Xfractor #/d to 150

2002 Playoff Contenders Sample
-Beckett shows different versions of this. I already had one, figured I'd pickup this one up just in case it was different. It wasn't lol.

2002 Pacific Countdown To Stardom
-Another cheapie insert that was MIA in my collection.

2003 UD Patch Collection #/d to 25
-Over sized oddity here. I think it is a 5x7, I didn't measure it yet.

Thanks man. Who knows, maybe it will be a diff part of the blue uniform I dont have lol. I dont recall seeing a white ever, but if an orange popped up I'm sure there may be one out there.

was the card damaged? i would be pretty upset too but im kinda on the fence about leaving a negative. i feel if the card reaches me undamaged and in a reasonable amount of time, i dont feel a negative is deserved unless the auction stated he would mail in a bubble envelope. again, does it suck? yes. is he being greedy for charging $2.50 for .42 shipping? yes. should you email him and let him know you're pissed and deserve maybe a refund of the excessive shipping? yes. i think a nuetral is definately deserved but i presonally would leave a negative unless the card was damaged, im not sure. this is just my opinion
btw, you're still the man and i hope you dont take this the wrong way

Thanks for the input man. I Dont take it the wrong way, its cool. I didnt leave the feedback yet, still thinking about it. But Yeah the card was harmed some. Not totally destroyed, but 3 of 4 corners are flattened and rounded. If you have ever graded a card and put a larger game used SP in one of those (i forget the exact name so forgive me) real thin plastic holders, you know what I mean. And the roundess of the corners was because it was dropped right in the envelope. Not to mention the few surface scratches, one you can see on the top left of the card, it is a white dig scratch.
He was pissed because the card sold for 99 cents. If he bubbled mailed it, after fees, he prop would have made less than 50 cents. So, he tried to recoup by shipping it poorly. But, really, that is not my problem ya know. I lost some money myself this passed week selling cards too. That is what one can expect by listing at 99 cents.
