The Dorsett does look really nice. I still can't get over how much that Dorsett was. Stinks on the Staubach b/c that price was even better than the Dorsett.

the centering on the dorsett is way better than the scan turned out. some of the card got chopped off when i cropped it. i will get a staubach rc eventually but i dont know if it will be as cheap or as nice. still waiting for a good deal on a 90 score emmitt too

Great stuff man. I'm always thinking about dumping some of my raw oldies for some graded ones. I do have a pretty nice looking Emmitt Supplemental I want to send in as well as a Campbell RC. Nice of you to switch over and get some PSAs too.

You did a good job at picking those babies out.

Thanks. I actually have about 50/50 BGS/PSA in my collection along with a few SGC. I've started prchasing PSA for 89 and older and BGS for 1990 and newer. Along with my BGS registries I've started some PSA ones as well.

I would think right now you should be able to pick-up a raw Smith for a good price. His Score rookies seem to be selling fairly low currently. I'd like to add a Staubach as well. Was the Dorsett an Ebay find?

most raw score emmitt's have been selling for around $25+ so i'll be picking one up soon. you can pick up a staubach in great shape for 40-50 but i'm dead set one paying 20 something for one.

yes, got the Dorsett off ebay

Thanks, I've been buying mostly graded HOF'ers lately and avoiding the newer products.

I have a Thurman Thomas (PSA 9) and now the Aikman from the Score set. 89 Score seems far less condition sensitive than 90 Score.

Nice card but I'll have to pass. Are or were you a Tim Brown fan?

I bought newer stuff and rookies up till this year. I decided to put more money into established players and HOF'ers than newer products and rookies. I still buy the low end (10 buck blasters) for the joy of opening packs and finding players I like. I left the hobby from 98-04 so I never became attached to the game used or auto cards.
