It may be one of the worst things to happen to the NFL but not football. It could hurt the ratings if a top team is not in the Super Bowl but it also gives other teams the chance to step up and compete. I get tired of the same teams always being there at the end and that is why I find it hard to watch college football. While you never want to see someone get injured this could infact help the Jets or the Bills or any other team in the AFC make it to the Super Bowl. Football needs parody. That is what makes it so exciting. Just my thoughts.

I hope you aren't the only non-AFC East fan that's happy about this, so more people will join the Bills party. With the way our defense looked against Seattle, we are gonna take the AFC East baby!

I've fallen in the Dallas media. Everything they say makes it sound like the Cowboys will make it to the SB and if not it's a complete failure.
If you watched the Cowboys game, they looked good. Great protection as the Pats had, but with a better run-game.
If it makes you any happier, I have the Steelers making the SB as well ;)

When I saw that on live TV I couldn't help but think of the things I would do to her. Trust me, I can't say any of them here

First of all, the OP didn't wish any ill will on Brady. I don't see anywhere in his post that he hopes Brady gets hurt.
Second, how is this the worst thing in the NFL. Brady is a great player, but I get sick and tired of hearing about him and Brett Favre every single day of the NFL season. There are other great players and stars out there, this is an opportunity to see some of them step into the spotlight. IMO, its never great for a league to focus on one star, there should be many to keep interest in the league as a whole.

That's what happens when he's the best player in the NFL. If your team had a HOF, 3x Super-Bowl winning QB, who was breaking all sorts of records, he'd be in the news as well. Unfortunately, from the looks of it, your a Bears fan, and I don't see any trace of a GOOD QB on that team. Just a bus-driver.

Gee whiz, thanks for pointing out the Bears futile QB situation over the years Mr. Obvious, any other breaking news? Who's your team boss?
My point was that there are other great players and stories besides Tom Brady and Brett Favre. While I acknowledge their accomplishments, is it necessary to tal about them 24-7? I dont' think so.

Cowboys.
Couple of things. You're going to hear about Brady alot since he is out for the season, and all these comparisons are going to be made. Also, do you wish ill-fate against Favre as well? Maybe if he gets injured you'll stop hearing so much about him.
I just don't understand.
I want the NFL to be the NFL and want to see the best players compete everyday. Whether they're playing against my team, or they're playing against the worst team in the NFL.

I'd rather he not get injured. No matter who the player is, I don't like to see injuries. I'd like to beat a team at full strength. That leaves no room for excuses.
