If your body is hurting that means that your muscles are getting a good qoekout. It will go away in maybe a week or so. The important thing is to change your workout routine every now and then so that the muscles keep working. Once a month is a good time to change your workout, it should hurt again because you are going to be working the same muscle but in a different way.

Maybe add some weight to your lowers as for me I can do nearly triple the weight for my lowers tha that of my uppers--my basketball coach in hs told me "look Walt your walking and using your legs to go anywhere so it makes sense for them too be stronger"(made sense to me)
And just to add to what angel said when your working out you are ripping and tearing those muscles apart so the next day or two they are condensing and moving back together(this is where the pain comes from not the ripping and tearing).
So, in order to build muscle correctly it is a good idea to not work those specific muscles again until they are NOT sore(as this is how a lot of people end up damaging them). The muscles do not completely grow and build if you continue to rip them when they have yet to condense. Think of it like taffy if you continue to pull it apart before it complete condenses it will fall apart and never turn into a piece hard chewable taffy.
I say all this to say yes it's normal and to add that you need to switch up you work routine if your muscles are sore so that they can fullly grow. Then once they are not sore rip 'em apart again!

Ahhhh....I miss getting sore like that. I had a weights and training class for 3 years of high school and played basketball and soccer. I remember coming back after summer and starting everything up again...If you get into it and stick with it, you'll actually get to the point where you like that feeling.
But yeah, it's completely normal...as you go along, it will start hurting less and less as you get buffer and buffer!

Yeah...you are doing something right but it is not good to qwork the same muscle every day. That is why every workout routine makes you work every other day on the same muscle

usually when you 1st start a workout routine it is common to have bad muscle pain but in a week or two your muscles should start becoming less sore.

well, i like to lift alot, (not going to bench yet, want to save myself the embarresment) but i use all machienes since they work out alot of different muscles. i will run or use the bike thing usually every other day. i do something with my legs because they are plenty strong to handle it right now anyhow

Be careful, don't do what I did! Sophomore year in high school, first lifting of the basketball season I blew out my back and had back spasms the rest of the season and they wouldn't let me lift, lol. Not fun!
