Card Cash Transactions No Longer Eligible Towards TOTM Tally
In viewing the card cash system, it has been deemed that it can be easily manipulated in regards to trade counts. Therefore, when we determine the TOTM at the end of each month, these will be thrown out.
Also, an update is forthcoming to the Trade Manager where all CC trades/tranactions will have their own field. Because transferring cc to a member is not eligible for feedback, the system will be set up where the side transferring the cc will not receive feedback on the deal.
These measures are in place since we give out rewards based on feedback as well as trades.

I don't get it. It's an agreement between 2 parties regardless. Transferring cc is similar to transferring paypal IMO, as whether its said or not, cc does have monetary value, so people deserve feedback based on living up to their end of the deal.

So even purchasing the CC from another member will not count ?
What happens with old CC transactions in your feedback, do they stay or are they moved ?

Card cash was originally created as a site reward, not a currency to be spent on SCF. When it was first started, you could only use it towards buying items out of the card cash store. Card cash was never intended to be a "currency" on SCF, but when we turned off the ability to earn it via posting, members complained there wasn't enough ways to get it. That's when we permitted it to be used where members to use their cards to get it from other members. At that time, it was agreed that cc deals were not eligible for feedback because there was no monetary value placed behind it. It was never intended for it to be sold for cash.
When it was discovered that the owner was willing to buy back card cash (minimum card cash amount was required), then the members asked if they could do the same. This is really when the idea of 100cc = $1 came about. Reluctantly, he agreed and the selling forum was created.
Nowadays, it's very easy to go in...buy 1,000 card cash and then turn around and use it sparingly (10-20 cc at a time) and immediately get numerous trades/feedback. With a MSF system in place, a person could buy themselves 20 feedback for just a couple of dollars. Is that a true indicator of their trading habits? No.
So, it's simply a matter of doing one of two things now.
1. Eliminate all the card cash forums and no longer permit them to be used in trades or to be purchased from other members...
2. Eliminate them from counting as trades in the system...
If you buy cc from a member, you are entitled to a feedback...not if you just transfer it. And no, even the purchase will not count in your totals. However, we may set it up where a minimum amount is purchased, that it will be eligible.

I get it, it makes sense since CC... really don't have value.
I do CC bet a lot. (not recently cause of Ike) and this is where I get most of my source of income.
Do I have to go to the trade manager everday to make the bets? Or is the CC Trade Manager only for CC deals dealing with cash/cards.

i gotta question the logic of this one- not that I care about FB or TOTM, but isnt it a transaction the same as buying, selling or trading? two parties are recieving things of value, doesnt that make it as binding of a deal as a trade or a sale, and thus worthy of the same recognition?

1. You guys are going to bury yourselves in rules.
2. If somebody will give me something I want for my card cash, then it has value. Nothing anyone says about card cash can make it any different.
3. If people can't get to 20 feedback quickly through trading card cash, they will figure out a new way to do it.
#1 is my opinion. #2 and #3 are irrefutable based on thousands of years of human existence.
