    The Lions are terrible.

There is always hype before every season that they may have a winning record. Look at all those weapons on the offensive side. Well, if you don't use those weapons, you end up scoring 13 points a game.

Please trade Roy Williams if you aren't going to throw him the damn ball. They are definately a bottom 3 team with the Rams and Kansas City. Calvin is a good player, but he is still young. You can't target him every single play. He has trouble getting off the line and drops a few now and then. They have the most inconsistent run game. You can't play 1 RB for 2 games then decide to shove the load on another RB who has been there even less than the rookie. Defense is definately a top 3 worst in the NFL.

If the Lions franchise Roy, I will just chalk it down as another WR drowned in the cesspool of Detroit.

If you have a WR with the talent and physical gifts of Roy Williams, you cannot only look towards him 5 times a game.

Hopefully he'll come to Dallas next year and line up to TO in the Superbowl.

While I agree with you for the most part, Calvin is clearly the better WR than Williams. Hes bigger, faster, and has better hands. Roy has dropped alot of passes through his career as well. I do agree with you that Roy being a Lion has dramatically hurt his career thus far and hope he can get on a better team. I also hate that Kitna is still in there, thought Stanton would be in by now, but I guess hes not ready.

I still watch every sunday, but I wont pay to go see them until they actually start caring enough to get a proven coach and GM.

I like Roy, I really do, but when you havent proven anything in this league other than you have all the gifts to be a top tier reciever than you need to stop signaling 1st down after a 15 yard reception when your team is down. He does this way to often.

Bottom line is they are poorly run organization from the owner down, but with the money tree that the NFL is the Ford's would be insane to sell the team.

While Johnson may be the better WR, he hasn't proven anything more than Roy has, except the fact that Calvin has a bigger fan base since he hasn't been drowned yet and he (Calvin) still hasn't proven that he can get off the line every play.

Roy has dropped plenty over the years, but he always seems to make the spectacular catch as well. I don't remember Roy dropping anything this year, while I've seen a couple from Calvin.

I'd pay to see Roy, TO and Witten with Romo throwing the ball.

Can you please explain what exactly Williams has proven in the NFL?

He's proven that he can be the #1 WR. In '06 he was the only WR on that team that was a viable threat and still posted a top 5 WR year while being double teamed with one of the worst teams in the league.
