Damaged Exquisite
So on my Exquisite break I had 4 cards damaged enough to send in. I called UD, got my case number and sent them in. The guy said they would either fix them or replace them. Has anyone dealt with this with Exquisite? Were yours fixed and if not what did you get in return.

interesting. I wonder how they determine whether or not it was legitimately damaged or not. (not saying yours wasn't) Anyways, sorry about the situation. Let us know how it turns out. What cards did you get by the way?

I pulled a triple auto out of last years exquisite of Matt Leinart/Vince Young/Steve Young Serial # 20 with a severely crushed top right corner.Called UD and was told the same thing.Sent the card in with proof of the box purchase and received nothing but an apology letter, a pack of cards, and my damaged card.Letter read something like we are sorry but we cannot replace your damaged card due to the scarcity, value, and volume of replacement requests we are receiving.Thank You and continue to support Upper Deck. I hope you have a better outcome then I did.

Man thats brutal, he did tell me lower numbered stuff is harder to replace. Luckily none of the good hits were damaged. Sucks they dont package the highest end product a little better.

Exquisite is hand boxed right? I remember hearing something like that and thats why there were so many damaged cards. Dunno if thats true or not.

It surprise me that they think they can afford the badwill these situations create. If people know that they wont get anything back if the cards are damaged it might stop them from purchasing highend products that cost hundreds of dollars per box.
On the other hand they can't really give out too much compensation or people might damage cards they don't like in hopes for a better replacement card. They could try to estimate a sell value (not BV) on the damaged cards and then give you a gift certificate on their products for lets say 75% of that estimated sell value. That way you lose out enough for people not to fake damaged cards but still give some compensation to those who suffered.
