Obviously, you can post whatever you want. By a quick count I saw over 35 threads you have done on Obama. Fine. To me it appears obsessive, but that is your choice. As for anti-McCain threads, if someone wants to start one, fine.
"I suppose I should ask - Is everything with Obama an issue? Seems to be. So you don't like Obama. I think that point has been made repeatedly by you to the point of overkill. You're not changing anyone's mind. In fact, if anything people are becoming more entrenched. There's very little discussion any more. It's simply become a tit for a tat."
As far as being presumptuous, I think it's clear from my statement that I was referring to posters otherwise why would I have said "...very little discussion...tit for a tat."

Yeah, 35 threads over several months is obsessive. Time to get the straight jacket! Sorry that I actually do research and like to discuss politics. I guess I should be like 80% of America and just vote on party lines or what the TV tells me?

No, you said, " You're not changing anyone's mind." Maybe more adjectives are needed? Most people reading are not posting. That is why you can have 300 views with 10 replies. I'm not trying to change any Obama supporters mind. I'm showing some facts about Obama to the guys in the middle that are on the fence. the election will be decided by people in the middle, not by rank and file Democrats and Republicans.

Mike, since you just admitted that, I never want to see you put a little smiley saying something like "40 views no replies, blah blah blah".

Yes, that does appear obsessive to me. If you did 35+ on climate change or immigration, etc, I would find that obsessive.
"You're not changing anyone's mind."
As I stated previously I was speaking to the discussion on threads. Take the context of the paragraph, not an isolated sentence.

You do realize we are in the election cycle and 99% of the topics are either about Obama and McCain right? And that this is a political sub-forum?

I question the credibility of your source. I have to, since anti-McCain sources are always being questioned. Take a look at the bottom of the article. Bias against Obama much?

Well, the disprove some of the facts. The source is biased, but it is far from an opinion piece. They reference several sources. I see ABC, The Huffington Post, the Associated Press and several other sources referenced.

I do not have anything to disprove becaues this looks like an opinion piece. Did ABC, Huffington, and AP publish a similar article to this? If this is true, then why haven't we heard much talk from this? The article date is 8/17/08. Perhaps this issue will be raised come October to seal a McCain victory?

Are you honestly asking why the mainstream media is NOT reporting on something that could hurt Obama? I think the answer is obvious. They will never touch a story about his religion or anything that could hurt his chances to become President. Since 90% of the media will vote for Obama, I think it is fair to see why this story is buried.
Go to Wikipedia and type in Barack Obama. You will see a good history on him and that he lived in Indonesia from 2-10 years old. It makes sense that his father-in-law would get him an Indonesian passport and citizen ship and since it is the largest Muslim country he would claim him as a Muslim.
