    SCF Superstar Draft...Results

Curious how everyone did or thinks they did.
Get your fave player? Any disappointments?

Draft crashed on me on my last pick.
Somehow I ended up with pick 499 or something, Stromile Swift (injured of course).
    Other than that did okay...
Ricky Davis was probably a bust.
Only regret was taking Ben Gordon over J.R. Smith.
    Nice pick up future!!!

    Here's my roster.

    Not bad at all.
I was 14th pick and Iverson was ranked 14...I had my fingers crossed. ;)
Great pick up on Stephen Jackson too.

Yea, I took AI mainly because he'll eat up minutes aside from just his scoring and assists, and minutes is (for some reason) one of the categories scored in this league. (Not sure why.)

Had the 18th pick. . . disappointed because I missed the live draft =|

    Court Vision1.(15)Danny Granger 2.(22)Chauncey Billups 3.(51)Rasheed Wallace 4.(58)Mehmet Okur 5.(87)Andrei Kirilenko 6.(94)Francisco Garcia 7.(123)Ronnie Brewer 8.(130)Drew Gooden 9.(159)Spencer Hawes 10.(166)Cuttino Mobley 11.(195)Anthony Carter

I'm glad that at least I have a decent PG in Billups. Granger was drafted in second round by the computer, way to high, but hopefully he blows up this year. Okur is a decent center. Gooden was a steal especially if he starts playing Center for the Bulls. Kirilenko, Garcia, Hawes and Brewer all have some upside. Mobley will probably be cut once the season starts and the waiver starts having some nice stuff. Anthony Carter might give some stats if he starts in Denver.

So... in all, unless I pick up some gems from the waiver wire, I'll be lucky if I finish in the top 5.

Not bad for an 'auto-draft' whalechaser!
Okur, Kirilenko and Carter should be nice for you.

Picking 18th, I didn't expect much, but pretty good IMO. A good rotation of points, assists, blocks, rebounds, steals, FG and FT%, with low turnovers. Probably need some more scorers, but picking last sucks :(

Here was my draft in order. I had the 16th pick, but I think I did VERY well on my first 2 selections! Mine was also autodraft.

    Al Jefferson
    Dwight Howard (yep, 21st overall)
    Mike Dunleavy
    Hedo Turkoglu
    Mike Bibby
    David Lee
    Ryan Gomes
    Marcus Williams
    Antonio McDyess
    Brook Lopez
    Martell Webster (INJ)

I don't have a good stealer or a good 3pt shooter, but I'm set up front. I really wanted KG, but I think Dwight and Big Al will be enough - plus, I would have to bench one of those 3 if I had all 3!

So, here's a question - what do I need? I'm a firsttimer at fantasy sports, so any help is greatly appreciated! I know I need a better 3PM person, and a better STLer....aside from that, what advice can you give me? Thanks in advance!
