    Amare dislocates pinkie

PHOENIX (AP)—Amare Stoudemire scored 17 points before dislocating his left pinky and the Phoenix Suns, with their regulars together for the first time, beat the short-handed Oklahoma City Thunder 102-93 on Thursday night.

With the victory, the Suns (5-3) completed their fifth straight non-losing exhibition season and 19th in the past 20 years. The Thunder (1-5) will finish their exhibition schedule Friday night at the Los Angeles Lakers.

Ouch...he's had an injury-ridden preseason - let's hope that he takes care of his pinkie ASAP, unlike Kobe

Looks like he won't miss anytime, but he will still have to wear a splint.

I feel bad for him, but he's had a positive outlook on his injuries this month which is nice to see.

He has to play with a splint? That sucks for him,

Off topic: I am wondering if anyone has ever tried to play basketball with a splint?

Looking for Kobe Bryant, Lakers, Blake Griffin, Swaggy P!

I would think shooting with a splint you would get use to....kinda like anything else - you eventually get use to it, but I bet the first shot with it on is WAY off! lol

Man, Amare is having awful luck. Hopefully this is the last injury besetting him in any way.
