Cote signals his joy to be in the third round. Silva throws a jab that misses, and Cote quickly collapses to the floor. Cote tries to bounce back to his feet, but this fight will end with an unfortunate freak injury to Cote's knee.

Anderson Silva def. Patrick Cote via TKO (injury) -- Round 3, 0:39.

Wow what an end to a hyped fight.

Silva/Cote wasn't a bad fight. Cote was cut early but you could tell Silva was going to pick him apart. He's just that damn good. Poor Cote going out with a knee injury.

I give Cote all the credit in the world for not stepping down. The dude was fearless and took Silva's best shots. He got kicked and took a big knee in the 1st round and stuck in there. I honestly think Cote would've gone the distance

Overall some good fights. It was a let down for the Silva vs. Cote to end the way it did. Just a good night to eat wings and hang out with some friends.
