point 1: legit - look at palins preacher (he's a NUT)
point 2: working on a board with the guy is not a friendship. BTW Ayers is an award winning professor who is a prominent voice in chicago.
    Point 3: legit
point 4. in my opinion that's a little iffy. he's not a socialist or communist.
point 5. no too sure about this - i like CCT (clean coal) as a temporary solution, Obama does too

point 6: Graduating at the top of your class at harvard, becoming first black president of harvard law review. (he should release them but there's no questioning he's a sharp guy
    and 1000x smarter than McCain)

Ya Ayers is a great guy, he was gonna speak at University of Nebraska, that was until Parents called the School Threatend to withdraw their Kids, and Threats of Riots, Atleast we got some smart people here in Nebraska.....

i don't agree with his past. all i know is just cuz you work with someone that doesn't make you "best friends". In my school, i know some kids who smoke & do drugs and sometimes i have to work with them to get things done in school, does that make me a bad person or a drug addict? NO!

they were working to better education in society and Ayers just happens to be a leading expert in the field!

Actually Ayers had a fund raiser for Obama at his house...a little more than just working with.

i cant exactly vote, but i wouldnt vote mccain purely because of palin. she is a religious nut and sure its a longshot, but at his age palin might just get in power. if i recall correctly, when asked what she should do if a girl was raped by her father and impregnated. her response was to have the baby and put it up for adoption. sure, be apposed to abortion if you want. but thats freakin rediculous

and he also donated $200 to Obama's campaign personally. (i think state senate level, but it doesn't matter)

i don't have a problem with this at all. A prominent voice in Chicago helping out a candidate. Bottom line, Obama is not a domestic terrorist or share any views of a domestic terrorist.

You want to talk ayers and Rezko, lets talk Liddy and Keating!

here is my biggest thing with Obama. The things that have come out about him, from associates, to comments he has made, etc. would have sunk any other candidate. His supporters have gotten in the habit of saying not a big deal when things come up that they now don't realize that the list of things that "aren't a big deal" is rather large.
His associates have been ignored, comments he has made have been ignored, he has been allowed to hide things about himself without the media pushing to find out why, etc. These are all things that would never be ignored about another candidate for president.

he happens to be fortuitous enough to be running for president after 8 years of Bush...I guess what Americans are saying is that Obama might smell foul, but there's a big pile of "Bush pooh" following McCain around

i don't think i've seen a SINGLE negative ad run by Obama targeting McCain in my area when he very well could have captilaized using the same dirty politics Washington has grown to embody.

let's talk liddy, keating, and palin's preacher if you want to talk about Obama's ties.

Obama hasn't needed to run negative ads because he has been in the lead. Typically (not always) once someone gets in the lead they avoid the negative ads. That and the media has done a good enough job running negative stuff on McCain. Independent studies showed that since the conventions Obama had roughly 1/3 positive, 1/3 negative, and 1/3 nuetral. McCain had 15% positive, 60% negative and 25% neutral.

Also, you created a thread asking why people weren't voting for Obama. We answered. When you say things like "let's talk liddy, keating, and palin's preacher if you want to talk about Obama's ties" it doesn't fit because we were only answering your original question.
