Losing Pennsylvania wasn't good at all for Senator McCain.

I don't understand where these networks get off calling a state when a minute percentile of votes has come in. For example, as of right now, McCain leads Michigan by 10,000 votes and only 5% percent of precincts have reported their votes, but Obama has already been declared the winner. Am I missing something?

I've been wondering about that as well. Earlier I saw where Obama was winning a state by 11%, but they called if for McCain.
