Obama Supporters Showing Their True Colors ?
Obama, being more gracious, and more humble than I can remember, congratulted Obama and Palin on a hard fought race and also thanking McCain for his long long service to this country. He then goes on to say that he looks forward to working with McCain and Palin for the betterment of our nation.
The silence was deafening. Even worse, there was some grumbling going on.
What happened to the big tent ? What happened to inclusiveness ? What happened to respect for all people ?

I'm sorry, but McCain supporters booed Obama and Biden during McCain's speech. Really, a non issue, but I had to respond since you brought it up. Staying silent is more respectful than booing a President Elect. I rest my case. :)

You call that 'grumbling'? Those at the McCain speech were virtually up in arms when McCain mentioned Obama.

Can we stay on point please ? If you'd like to make a thread about McCain supporters please do so, but THIS thread is about the Obama supporters.
BTW - I didn't get to hear most of McCain's speech so I will have no comment in your thread.

Hate to say but everyone was thinking that the Obama supporters would be sore winners but I think the McCain supporters have showed their true colors here.......
Very sad in my opinion...
