    AMARE!!!!What did you just do??????

Why would you shoot 18-22(81%) be 15-15 from the line, have 11 rebounds, 6 assists, 5 steals and 2 blocks.

He scored 51 points tonight. 81 is impressive by Kobe but he shot 46 times that game at a 60% fg average. I think tonights performance by Amare is one of the top all around nights in this decade if not the top.

Also they won and are now 4-1!!!

As a Phoenix resident and big Suns fan, I had the game on tonight......

    wow

It wasn't just the points- he DOMINATED every aspect of the night. Defense, rebounding, scoring. If he plays like that, people will realize he is a top 5 NBA guy. He just has to have the heart.

...he had 49 according to the boxscore.

Nevertheless, an excellent game for my fantasy points league! Probably put up at least 120 points in my league!

Yeah I almost didn't start him. Hawes has been playing better. Better take him off my trade block as well.

I'm totally confused- I watched the game, the whole thing..... and the announcers and graphics were all going crazy when he hit 50 and 51 at the line, and then they put up a career high 51 point graphic..... I don't know what happened?

I know what you mean by bringing up Kobe though- while I don't want to say what he did wasn't phenomenal, and I agree what Kobe did was more amazing, consider Kobe took 66 shots in that game to get 81 points. Amare took 36 shots to get 49. It's a lot easier to get shots up when you are in charge of handling the ball up and down the floor.

I think this game will be a turn around game for the Suns. they have been playing well but they have not dominated defensively. Tonight they played great.

Thanks Amare for destroying the West's dreams of going anywhere this year.

I know I shouldn't compare Amare to Kobe. What Amare did was amazing, what kobe did was ok. Basketball is a team game. Amare put up a large amount of points while contributing defensively and with assists. Kobe achieved his milestone by shooting and not caring about his team.
