That's some good stuff. Ive always liked the beat to Float On, and the two meshed pretty well. It's going on my Iphone as soon as I re-sync it. If you do (Or have done) anymore I'd love to hear them.

Awesome...thanks for the listen! I don't have any other mixes like this, but when I find the right songs to blend I will make some more!

Eh, it's not bad. If you slow down the rapping it would sound a little better, but that would probably ruin the sound of Busta.
I've made a couple songs like this featuring New York, New York by Ja Rule and Made You Look Remix by Nas and Jada

yeah, i definitely wasn't sure what others would think of it...it's not exactly the easiest of combinations blending rock & rap. Then again, the original Busta song uses a Seals & Crofts sample. I actually had to speed Busta's vocals up slightly, because I didn't want any distortion in the instruments....so he is rapping a little faster than normal. I have also used Jada's verse from New York before, but never mixed Made You Look....wouldn't mind hearing some mixes you did!
I've actually got a bunch of Biggie songs I made with his vocals on my beats...he's my favorite artist, and I have a bunch of his acapellas, so I wanted to make an album. But I've been messing with it for a while now, and have never finished. I don't get much time to sit and work on music like I would like to.
thanks for the listen! glad you liked it!

One of my friends in New York is a DJ and has an album out with all the best deceased rappers to his beats. It's pretty amazing.
I'll upload some of my stuff and some of his stuff tomorrow or Tuesday since I have the day off for Veteran's Day.

EDIT: Double post.
Oh, and I didn't mix Made You Look with New York, New York...I'm not sure how that would sound actually. But you'll hear what I did later, I think it's a pretty natural fit, almost like they could of written the song for the beats I used.

The beat blends well by like spoodini said the rap is a little fast for the music in spots.

spoodini...definitely post them up...you can even post in here if you feel
dallascisco....yeah, i tend to agree...i think the 2nd verse gets off just slightly toward the end even though i chopped it....i confess i spent less than 30 minutes on it and kind of rushed it....plus left the chorus part come in on the 2nd verse rather than rearrange it...i think the first verse is spot on though....i think my time stretching of the vocals is just slightly off which is why i ended up chopping the 2nd verse and I didn't feel like stretching the vocals again...overall, i dont think theres anywhere Busta gets "off beat", but yeah, the end of the 2nd verse sounds a little off
thanks for the listens and the feedback...will post some more mixes eventually
