One question...what is blu-ray? I've never known what it was but see things for it all the time.

It's the standard format HD (High Definition) DVD. You can only play them in blu-ray players.
You get the best effect when you have them attached to a HD TV.
It's competitor, the HD DVD (I know, kinda confusing) lost the battle for standard format.
You can recognize them by the blue color of the case, while the HD DVD had a red case.

Oooooh ok! Thanks. I knew they had the blue case because I see them but I never really knew what they were..I just always thought they were like DVDs...and could be played in regular DVD players...

Batman Begins...Incredible movie.
V for Vendetta....Pretty cool movie.

I might pick some up too considering I just got a check for my birthday from my grandmother. :)
If I choose to, I'd pick these three:
V for Vendetta (great movie)
Full Metal Jacket (pretty much one of my favorite movies)
Semi-Pro (never seen it)
