Paid $90 for two boxes and overall I am pretty happy. I feel like the autos and Gu's were kind of duds but was really happy with the parallels and the Hughes topper. For those who don't already know, the base cards and the cards in general are just awesome with names like Cobb, Walter Johnson, Ruth, Koufax, etc...all the legends. Love the Masterpieces sets. Thanks for looking. Anyone interested in trading lmk.

There are two different types of non #'d green framed cards in that set so maybe they were not actual doubles?:)

yeah I was thinking about that, how can I tell the difference? they look exactly the same

just looked closely, one of green borders has a texture like the canvas card and the other seems completely smooth, is that what it is? seems like such a small difference though

That is the difference, nice and annoying isn't it:)

Green linen parallel is the regular frame and the Windsor Green is the smooth one.

I did not learn about this untl a few weeks ago and had to go back and revamp my player collection want lists.

well, I was thinking about going for the set of those since I am going for the Black Border set of the 08 Masterpieces, but I will ponder, how much do they book for?

the Fisk is the Windsor Green and the Yaz is regular green linen

Both parallels are the same price. Sorry but I have no extra base from this set as I never bought any. Managed to trade for a bunch I needed for the players I collect including a nice Campanella 1/1
