    Funny Cide Loses at Belmont

I am rather disappointed. I was cheering for him all the way. Well, hey, you just have to look at it and say it was a great run and it was very well done. : ()

I didn't understand the strategy today. Funny Cide has come from the 2nd or 3rd spot coming into the final stretch with both the Preakness and Derby.

I don't understand why he ran in the lead for most of the race.

The early leader very rarely takes it all the way.

That's what I said. I don't understand why you fix something that isn't broken.

I think we all wanted to see a new triple crown winner... but there's a reason it's so hard to achieve... oh well...

i remember them saying that the past triple crown winners have all had the lead from the start in the belmont, so the strategy wasnt uncommon.

I don't know much about horse racing; but do y'all think Funny Cide would've won had it been a sunny day and the tracks weren't all sloshy and muddy?
