Zeit Geist Movie
www.zeitgeistmovie.com
anyone that has a couple hours to watch this documentary should check it out if your intetersted. Part 1 is about 40 minutes on religion, which is very interesting, Part 2 is about 9/11 Theories and Part 3 is all about the Federal Reseve and how it plays into politics. Keep an open mind when watching and remember .... nothing is impossible!!
I'd like to hear some opinions from those that may have already or decide to watch it now. Discussions are welcome.

Anyone who believes that 9/11 conspiracy tin foil hat garbage doesn't deserve to be listened to about anything.

I guess that would depend on what theory is being presented...
Anyone who believes that 9.11 Commission report garbage doesn't deserve to be listened to about anything!
I have yet to watch Zeit Geist, but have heard of it before and will watch it sometime

gatorboymike - Ok cool. If you believe that then that's fine.
RedGoneWILD - check it out man, it is definitely an interesting piece. Keep an open mind and I think you'll find yourself questioning a lot of things. The 9/11 piece is interesting but not nearly as interesting as the part about the Federal Reserve and the absolute corruption within.

Seen it and the addendum.
Unfortunately... running in the conspiracy theory circle forces me to watch this filth that calls itself real conspiracy theory.
The movie is horrific with barely any facts presented in it.
The part on religion is particularly atrocious and is just random tidbits, most of which aren't even true, thrown together in a sad attempt to convince the feeble minded people who take what they watch in these things as fact over to the warped mindset of the creator of the movie. The same feeble minded watchers who take what is said at face value without looking into background facts.
It's sad how many people watch these type of films and stop there... believing them, or even part of them, without doing their own research.
If you want a decent guy to listen to about conspiracy theory stuff you could at least find someone like an Alex Jones type fella. Though even he was far far too easy on the maker of Zeitgeist when he interviewed him.
But... to each their own I suppose. ;)

Actually there are plenty of facts in the movie, they just don't elaborate enough for one to realize it. If they elaborated on everything the touch in this 2 hour movie it would turn into a week long 40+ hour film that no one would watch.
Again, this movie barely scratches the surface on the reilgion portion. Sure it is a bunch of random tidbits thrown together but I disagree it's in an attempt to get as you call it the "feeble" minded to be convinced this is absolute truth. Each person takes what they want from the movie itself and if they so choose not to do any further research that is their own issue and I don't believe they are any less feeble minded than the person that chooses to research because who are we to say if the believe it or not in the first place .... doesn't seem like you did so??
We actually agree on something?
I've read some Alex Jones material and seen a few of his interviews and documentaries. He's decent!
Ahhhh yes, what makes America so great indeed. For a while longer anyway!!

I also wanted to leave this quote ...
my country… We have come to be one of the worst ruled, one of the most completely controlled and dominated governments in the civilized world. No longer a government by free opinion, no longer a government by conviction and the vote of the majority, but a government by the opinion and duress of a small group of dominant men.”
President, Woodrow Wilson
and this website for anyone that wants to do some more research on "The Fed", this is a great place to start.

Yes, Alex Jones is decent... I'll give him and you that.
As far as Zeitgeist goes though... well... my mind is so muddled right now with so much different stuff that I might actually be making fun of the wrong film here... BUT... lol
to show how pathetic "Zeitgeist" is, I will use one little example to show how the whole movie is a bunch of crap.
In the religion section, the similiarities of religions are being discussed, virgin births, mothers with the names of M.... etc. etc. etc.
That whole section is a joke. The maker of the movie pulls random gods and relgions in where they help him and thats it. He ignores everything else. For example: he mentions Buddha's mother's name beginning with an M. That is the only category that Buddhism fits into amongst all those other thigns. Its a joke to mention it at all. Why not use me as an example because my mom's name is Myrna? Its got the same relevence as him using what he did.
The whole video is just little snipits thrown together and then fired rapibly off at the viewer without any background or any factual basis, etc.
I hope this was actually an example from Zeitgeist and not one of the million other movies like it that I have seen... it all gets so muddled after a time... you know?
