Any Musicians?

Just wondering if there are any musicians on the boards. I've been playing guitar for about 6 years now. I can play anything from blues, rock, metal, and neo-classical shred.

I play guitar a little bass and that's it. been playing bass for a few months and guitar for about 2 1/2 years. just started playing guitar more heavily lately though. it's amazing how much you can improve with consistent practice schedule. I play most punk and some hard rock. do you have a band or anything?

What is neo-classical shred? Is that like Yngwie Malmsteen? I've been playing piano for 25 yrs and guitar for 20. Also known to sing when needed.

Yeah, like Yngwie Malmsteen. I can do sweeps and fast picking.

I haven't been in a band for like 2 years, before that I was in different bands for a few years. Played in an all orginal alternative band, then i was in a classic rock cover band. Also was in a blues band and metal band. Bass is pretty cool to play, not many people like to play bass, but its probably the most important part of the band because it keept everything tight.

not the trashy kind either haha

I've played guitar for 8 years. I was in a band for awhile, it was rock. I just had too much of a wide variety of taste in music to play once style, it just got to where it wasnt fun.

lol, i've never tried that. I'm all into that style of playing, Yngwie, Paul Gilbert, and Rusty Cooley (look him up, he's insane)
