I didnt generalize all poor people.
But actually i do have evidence, thank you for asking.
After hurricane katrina, a ton of refugees fled to north Texas, a lot of them were poor. These refugees got some money from the government to help them out until they got back on their feet. A friend of mine worked a CD store. Right after Katrina hit, the store was packed for days and days. They sold tons of CD's, DVD's, video games, and some people even tried cashing their whole check at the cd store.
That is one example, and a small example, of wasting money. They couldve been buying food or necessities, but instead, wanted to buy cd's, dvd's, and video games.
I forgot to mention all the people trying to shop lift.

Yes, there were people who misused the funds given to them after Katrina...there were stories about people who used the cards to buy designer purses and clothes...but that certainly doesn't describe all katrina victims....you cant use a small percentage of katrina victims who abused the funds to paint a picture of all poor people
and since you brought up shoplifting during katrina...tell me why the governor of louisiana threatened shoplifters would be shot...people were trying to survive one of the worst natural disasters in our nations history and we're concerned about SHOPLIFTING??? why did the media portray white katrina victims as trying to survive, while minorities were labeled shoplifters?
LMAO @ shoplifting during katrina....what a joke

Ok, well like I said, I wasnt generalizing ALL poor people. Just like that example didnt describe ALL Katrina victims. But if you divided all the money in the U.S. evenly, then 90% of the poor people now would become poor later on, 90% of the rich now would become rich later on, and then the other 10% of each would probably switch.
And then you pulled out the race-card.

And I wasnt talking about shoplifting in New Orleans, I was talking about north Texas.
Read my post better next time.

How do you expect people to pay there bills when folks are loseing the jobs. people got mortgages when they had jobs NO JOBS NO MONEY.Try telling your kids or your parents telling you that you have to move in with family or friends because you just lost everything you worked for and now its gone.Think about the other people out there and there kids. Not the greedy ceos that are stealing your parents pensions and laying people off to benefit on the bigger profit margains so there bank accounts grow. The last thing I would bet that Almost 75% of the public live week to week and maybe have enough money to survive for only 1 month with no income

Yeah, your right. It sucks how these CEO's act, but they still get away with it.
Thats why I've been saving as much as possible, so that if something happens I have enough in my savings account to live for 10-12 months. Yeah, I could easily go spend a ton of money and buy an amazing looking truck, but I'd rather play it safe. Especially now.

There are still jobs out there. Maybe not the same one you had before or the same pay level but you can find a job if you try. If you don't believe me check out out the job sites or your state employment website. I have turned down half a dozen jobs in the last month. I know the economy is rough right now but if you plan and act responsibly you will get by.
Everyone tries to blame the CEOs but it is actually the board of directors that approve the CEO pay. They are the ones that need to be removed.

I didnt know that, I guess its very smiliar to government. Everyone blames the President but the rest of the government deserves just as much blame.
