The Future of SCF
This week I take the big leap from being a full-time Air Force guy to working from home. This Thursday I leave sunny Hawaii after 7 years to move back home to Massachusetts. Yes, I'm going from a paradise to a blizzard. :) Selling a home and two cars is not fun. Packing and moving is even less fun!
What does this mean for SCF? This means I will be working full-time on SCF, TR, Non Sports Card Forum and a few other sites. I will go from having just a few hours a day to dedicate to my websites to an entire day. I will be selling of many of my other websites to focus on the core area; sports and non sports cards!
2009 will truly be the year of Sports Card Forum and hopefully a boom for Non Sports Card Forum. The core of SCF will remain the same, but we will be adding a lot of great features, attend more shows and grow our partnerships and sponsorships. I will be making some big announcements soon, so stay tuned. :) In 2008 we literally doubled our traffic and activity from January to December. In 2009, we will become a major player in the sports card industry.
So, wish me luck and look out for some great editions over the next few months!

A) Graded Vintage (Pre-1980) (BGS, BVG, PSA, SGC) in all sports
B) Graded True RC's (No inserts or parallels) (BGS, PSA, SGC) in all sports
C) Certified Auto and GU cards of players from the 70's and further back in all sports

That is a really big change. While it definitely sounds great for SCF, TR, etc., I hope it works out for you personally as well.

Sounds great Mike, look forward to seeing what else you can do with SCF.......Hawaii to MA....that will be a weather shock fo you as I live in MA and we just had a really NASTY ice storm.......where about in MA your from?

Fairhaven near New Bedford. I may be joining the MA Air Guard at Otis. :) Can still play toy soldier for one weekend a month.
