Someone offered me a Devin Harris Exquisite RC Auto Gold /34 for 300. Last 2 have sold for 399 and then 355. I don't know if he will keep up these numbers or if his cards will continue to bring in that kind of money. The only players that seem to bring good money in is players on good teams or hot teams at the time. What do you guys think? Use the money for the Harris or for a different more desirable player?

If someone offered me a "steal" it would make me worried. I would be thinking that his value has peaked and someone is trying to make money off me.

I agree. The player has to be doing for several seasons, not half a season before I would spend that kind of money on him.

Truthfully, if I really like the player, I would buy, because value doesn't matter. If I was buying for an investment, I would not buy, because the guy hasn't done it long enough.

Man I didn't say he wasn't a good player. I said I'm not sure he is as good as everyone thinks right now, because he's on a bad team. He may end up being greater than Lebron. I just can't make that estimate on half an NBA season.

I think if I keep it until the all-stars and then play offs and sell it I will make some money. Any team in the play offs that has a player that puts up big numbers their cards usually go for more. That's why I think it's the best time of season to get it. I am not sure guys. I am very uneasy about this deal.
