ok if you want to invest get the harris, because it can only go up. I mean really what is a 5th year lebron james auto goign to do for your collection? nothing extroaridnary. If you got the harris and he like blows up then that card triples in value. Do it mayen

I agree with you on the potential of Harris, but he has potential to go down extremely also.

yeah but getting his best card for 300 seems like a sweet deal to me...look where he is playing he has a chance to be an all star there for a long time. just wait this same card in 3 years will probably be worth close to a 1000.

I hope he doesn't get hurt. His numbers will go dramatically down if/when he's on good team. He has not done enough for long enough. If you want to take that chance for 3 years down the road, then do it. It could just as easily be worth $60-100 in 3 years. LBJ is going to hold his value for awhile, and might go up a little if he wins a banner. This is why I suggested that option.

yeah, but hes not on a great team right now. If he can some how make the nets a good team in the East, (which is possible) his value would skyrocket being the allstar on that team.

I don't know about that. Just getting into the playoffs in the NBA is easy. Going deep is hard. Harris isn't going to have a good supporting cast for 2-3 years. So he'll just rack up stats, but true value is in the players that win championships.

Probably, I'd favor the Roy slightly. His team will likely make the playoffs this year and if Greg Oden ever lives up to his ability, Portland will have a Shaq-Kobe combo.

Can't go wrong with a LeBron. If he keeps up how he plays, he will be a sure HOF'er barring anything unforseen. Kobe is already a HOF'er, so you can't go wrong their either.

Yes but their cards are already high. I'm looking for one that will make a huge investment. I was thinking B Roy. I am not sure though. All of you are making good arguments.
