    I took the early out just over 18....

    2 years - Schierstein Compoung (Wiesbaden) Germany
    4 1/2 years - Wurtsmith AFB Michigan
    5 years - Barksdale AFB Louisiana
    4 1/2 years - Pentagon, Washington DC
    2 years - K. I Sawyer AFB Michigan

    To be honest...all were the best...never had a "worst"!

    I did the Wiesbaden gig (military brat), as a matter-of-fact, my
    father died on the tarmac at Wiesbaden in a Medevac.

    Where did you live while at the Pentagon, Virginia or Maryland?

    I took Bush I's early out (Force Reduction 1987). That and 43
    days of Terminal Leave gave me 3 years 4 months and 19 days
    on the DD214. Uncle Sam and I were in mutual agreement that
    it was the prudent thing to do!
