the Blazers should have just picked him up and keep resigning him for 10 day contracts and never play him, let his contract expire and bam good to go.

That is what the memo they sent out said. it seemed like a threat like that would be against NBA rules

It was obviously a pack of litigious reverse psychology. They were daring every other team to pick him up specifically for the purpose of creating grounds to sue. I have no respect for them, and I hope the league fines them so hard Greg Oden's grandkids feel it.

i believe you can only sign a player to 3 10 day contracts before either giving them atleast a contract for the rest of the year or you have to let them go

Miles is only 27. I don't think Grizzlies actually doing this JUST for the 300 Grand...

They are looking at a promising player that is trying to make a comeback. Miles could possibly turn out well for the Grizzlies.

Miles deserve to sue Blazers. They are ruining his career. First by claiming he can't play anymore due to his physical health, and then warning to sue anyone that is trying to sign him. He already has the money; he just wants to play.

Everyone keeps forgetting that Miles can be a good player still.

Blazers are being stupid right now. Hope Miles get playing time and plays brilliantly. =P

Man everyone hates on the Blazers when all they are trying to do is say they don't want people unfairly signing Miles. If the Grizzlies needed Miles then its ok they just don't want teams abusing their cap just for the sake of abusing their cap.
