    A True Miracle

    As some of you know, my wife and I were expecting on the 29th of Jan. But our new child had other plans. We didn't know what we were having because we wanted the suprise, and I'm glad we waited to find out. My new son came into this world on Sat. the 24th. It was one, if not the most exciting, joyful time of my life. This is our first child. My wife started having contractions at about 9-9:30 am on saturday but didn't really want to go in, figuring they were just the start of labor or false labor. Then about 11 am we decided to go in. We checked in to the hospital at noon and delivered at 12:50!! It was amazingly fast for a first time delivery. The doctor broke my wife's water in his street clothes, figuring he wouldn't be able to do it. So he rushed out to get into his scrubs and the nurses were in and out getting set up for delivery. They told my wife not to push, becuase they weren't ready ye! lol! Then out came Asher Luke Lundell. He weighed 6lbs. 8oz. and was 19.5 inches long. Very healthy boy. I am so amazed at the whole pregnancy and delivery. It is unbelievable at how amazing God's creation is. I am truly a blessed husband and now father. Thanks for reading and take care. Luke
