    Carmelo cleared to return Friday

    DENVER -- Denver Nuggets forward Carmelo Anthony has been cleared by his doctor to play Friday night against Charlotte.

    Anthony has missed the last 10 games with a broken bone in his right hand. He was hurt Jan. 5 against Indiana. The team went 6-4 in his absence.

    Nuggets didn't do too badly without him. They should do better now that he'll be back. Hopefully this isn't too soon though, as a broken hand isn't something you want to rush back.
