Here's a topic that will cause an arguement...
NBA Game Winning Shots Since 2003-04
LeBron James leads the league with 17 game winners, and Vince Carter is 2nd with 16. Ray Allen is 3rd with 15, and Kobe is fourth with 14.
LeBron also leads the league, in a tie with Kobe Bryant, for the most game winning shots in the playoffs (4).
Another interesting statistic: Ronald Murray is perfect in GW shots - 4/4! While Chauncey Billups has the worst GWFG% at 0.162 (6/37).
Some very interesting stats!

This is shocking. I am obviously a Bron fan, but I didn't think he had that many. And people always say Billups is Mr. Big Shot, but that percentage is horrific. Actually, a lot of percentages there are horrific - pressure obviously gets to most players.

Dan will make something up or ignore this thread completely, he always does when you have proof that Lebron is good at something or leads the league in a certain category.

Why would i run away from the thread? Kobe's still better, i'll say it over and over again, Lakers are better, Kobe is better, end of story
but for the game winners, keep in mind this cant happen when you always blow out the other team, so its subjective in a wayHidden Content

These are cool stats but I think it would also be important to know the percentages of Lebron and Kobe (since they're the ones people love to bash)...As it stands now I would say that LeBron is the best in game-winning shots because he has the most experience. But w/o percentages it's hard to really say who is better...
Whether LeBron had more opportunities b/c the Lakers are always blowin' out other teams is irrelevant to me...I think the key to these stats is one question, When the game is on the line who do you want shooting the ball? Without percentages the next best thing is experience and it seems Lebron has more...
This reminds me (a little) of a post a while back about who's really clutch in the nba and who just has the clutch image...
Personally, I'd give the ball to Ray Allen every time...

Alright, I am an idiot...didn't realize it was a link!
Now that I have seen the stats I would say LeBron is better than Kobe (who has had more attempts BTW!)...
But, like I said, I'd still give the ball to Ray Allen....
