Mo is mo deserving for an all-star spot than Carter (like it??
) Carter hasn't been consistent enough IMO...plus, the Nets aren't a great team - 1 player from them is more than enough considering their record. Mo was the right choice, even if I think that Rondo could've/should've gone, because 4 allstars from one team is a bit insane.

but team records should mean squat. all star status is an individual acheivement, not a teams

And if that was the case, then Al Jefferson would've made it in a heartbeat, but it's clearly not. Anyway, Vince's individual achievement isn't enough IMO to justify an all-star spot.

To let you know Jefferson has better all-around stats than Amare. His stats are similar to both duncan and dirk. Mo williams stats are a little bit worse than carter's, but Mo plays better "D." Mo means more his team. Please check NBA.com for the stats. There is no way Carter should be in. Maybe if Mo gets hurt , but before Carter I think Rondo should go.Last edited by drtom2005; 02-11-2009 at 02:24 AM. Reason: edit

Amare is the only one of those 3 better on offense, but Big Al is far better on defense over Amare, and is better than Duncan or Dirk overall as well. Al has the best post moves in the game. Based on the All-Star ballot, he's a center (I think he's a PF, but whatever), and the only center in the league that is better than Al is Dwight Howard. That alone is saying alot.

Ditto.
Anyway, back on topic - Mo got in, and that's all that matters. Good luck to him, and good luck to the eastern conference! :-D

look at his stats, its obvious, James is averaging almost 30 6 and 6, and Mo still finds a way to put the stats up that he does, while Cater has Devin Harris, but no one else really at all..and Iggy, he's the star of the team and his numbers are super
