Sam Bowie 2.0, on an unrelated note, Durant goes for 46 in the Rookie/Soph game!

Not true. As a Blazer fan I would still rather have Oden knowing everything thats happened than Durant. Why you may ask? Well think about it. Portland doesn't need another 2 or 3. We need a Center and thats what we have with Oden. Oden can rebound and hit the occasional shot which is exactly what we need him to do because we have Roy and Aldridge doing the scoring. Again, Durant is a great player but for the Blazers sake I'd still rather have Oden.

If he can stay healthy, Oden will need do these things to get the Blazers a ring.
Average 10-15 points a game. average 2-3 blocks a game. Average 8-10 rebounds a game. Average 4-6 assists a game. If he does this, this he playing to his potential as a center. He was getting closer, but the injury got him again. Remember he doesn't need to score with Roy and Aldridge. Just clog up the middle and take away easy baskets and second chances.

Oden has proven he can be a beast when healthy.

Any idea how serious this can be?

The Blazers should have drafted Durant. Then D.J. Augustin in the 2008 draft. Aldridge, Durant, Augustin. Better than Aldridge, Oden, Bayless. :)
