Mookie Wilson Signing at Steiner Sports Store on Long Island
Just got back from the signing, Mookie is the man. He was great with everyone, was friendly and gave a great clear signature. Wasn't too crowded either, maybe 40-50 people. I was about 10th in line at about 5:40, the line for more and more packed as it got closer to 6:00 when he was scheduled to start. He wound up coming out of the store around 6:20 or so. From what I heard the Steiner people saying was that he was in the backroom signing stuff for them
I got him on my 1986 Mets Jersey, a 16x20 of the Buckner Play from the W.S. and also on a ROMLB.
It was $25 a signature on whatever you brought and $10 for inscriptions. They are having a signing with Mets LF Daniel Murphy on April 25th where everything is $30 a signature.
I'll post pictures of my items after I finish up eating.Last edited by JustinBerl; 02-25-2009 at 09:33 PM.

Yeah $25 each, I was shocked cause I saw a show late last summer where Mookie was $40 for jerseys and large flats and like $30 for balls.
This is one time Steiner actually did something good for fans instead of their typical insane prices, like Joba Chamberlain for $90 at a signing coming soon.
Thanks, I have 3 more 86 Jerseys; Straw, Doc and Carter that I want to get done. Doc is doing a show in 2 weeks it's $40 for Jerseys which I think I'll do. Carter will be at the same show but it's $75 for jerseys, I'd rather send it to his foundation for $25. Sucks I won't get to meet him but saving the $50 is bigger than a handshake. Straw will be coming around soon also, with his book coming out in May.

I went to get a price to have the jersey framed, Michaels is having a deal over the weekend 50% off custom framing, so for $150 instead of $300 I'm going to have the Jersey framed.
I also picked this up tonight from Michaels, I had this custom framed. Took about 2 1/2 weeks for some reason

I think I saw one last night on eBay, 87 topps are the wood grain bordered ones right?
I bought it already triple matted and signed from a guy on eBay for about $30, the framing cost me $70 (Originally $140, but Michaels had a 50% off deal).
I'm trying to find the materials the guy who matted it use, so I can do my other Mets stuff the same way
