Even after the Celtics signed Mikki Moore, I still had a little hope they would sign Joe Smith. Guess not...:[

Adonal Foyle and Stromile Swift were also both bought out/waived. Maybe Swift is the "surprise" for the Cavs? We'll find out within about 10 hours I guess.
Spurs, Lakers and Cavs will probably all sign one or more of these players.

I'll take Joe Smith over Mikki Moore any day of the week. He'll help the Cavs out much more than Moore will help out Boston!

I'd consider Gooden myself. He isn't the best option, Smith would be better as far as starting, but I can't say it would be that bad too have Gooden come off the bench. Gooden basically was our second offensive threat when we had him. Like I said, I'd take Joe Smith if I could only have one of them, but if we can possibly get both, and if there is no one else out there better than Gooden avalible, I wouldn't overlook him too quickly.
