    Oden remains out

Greg Oden is expected to miss another 7-10 days. And I'm sure 10 days from now he will be expected to miss another 7-10 days.

Why not just say he's out for the season, and if he comes back, then it'd be a surprise, rather than saying he's out for 7-10 days, and not being surprised when that's extended? lol

    lol

    article
    http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/s...e=NBAHeadlines

and last time , I did as fun.

Compare 40's Mutombo VS Oden(rookie season(?))

    http://www.basketball-reference.com/...omdi01&y2=2007

except Points, most of stat are similar.

But Oden's PF is double than Mutombo.

SO it is meaningless Oden points more.

    In short,
    40's Mutombo >> Oden

Sorry Oden fans but as it is at least now..

    and another comparison
    http://www.basketball-reference.com/...engr01&y2=2009

    Michael Olowokandi VS Greg Oden.

    Really Similar...

After microfracture surgery, it may take up to 2 years to get to NBA playing form. I do not think it is time to totally disregrd him. I think we need to see him next season before we can say anything about him, but I would still sell his cards.

    I partly agree your OP.

BTW , the reason why People has thought worse, he was really over-rated than his ability because of these days (NBA wihtout nice centers like 90's)environment.

Most of People thought Oden was like next Patrick Ewing or like traditional nice centers.

But he was not and will not be..

Of course, he is young and we can watch how he will be good.

But in other hands, he hasn't reached his prospect until now.
(Look at above comparison I made)

I don't like Both Oden and Durant.

But I can't help telling about Durant's greatness than Oden...different position though..(At least now)
