    Sprint Strikes another blow

    First Cingular, Now onto Verizon...

This is a bunch of crap, Nascar should have never allowed this to be in the contract. Budweiser never kept The Miller car out of the Bud Shootout....Pepsi doesn't try to keep Cokes cars out of the 400....I thought in Business holding a Monopoly was a no-no.....

    **NO**New way to do business

Verizon can't sponsor a Sprint Cup car, so together with Penske, the duo formed Verizon Championship Racing as a way to sponsor cars while playing by the rules.

    but on the bright side...

Justin Allgaier, the nationwide driver for penske, has FULL sponsorship for the 12 car in the NNS. And yes, it's Verizon.

How many young drivers (outside Logano) can say that?

the exclusion is nothing new. WINSTON had the exclusive rights for many many years. That is why marlboro and others were not allowed to sponsor cars.

Didn't Camel have sponsorship on Jimmy Spencer's car in the 90s?
