the g-state warriors released him today after giving up a first rounder for him and him barley playing, what happened? this guy was good in New Jersey

Apparently he just plain sucked here in GS, or he didn't fit the mold Nellie was looking for. I'm disappointed we didn't give him more of a chance, considering we gave up a 1st for him.

He was great at UCONN, but clearly it would have benefitted him to play his senior season. I'm sure someone will pick him up, the kid can play if put in a position to succeed.

Essentially, yes, but if you break down any trade, you can find someone who was given away for nothing somewhere down the line because of another trade, or someone being released, or retirement, etc.
