Brilliant Gimicks That Never Got Over

There have been a lot of brilliant gimicks that never properly had a chance to get over, and none come to mind like the man who paved the way for Santino Marella, one Salvatore Sincere. With catch phrases like "I'm a so a sincere" and his magnificent pre pay-per-view Free For All feud with a young Rocky Maivia, this man should have been a wrestling god. I often lie awake at night and fantasize about a world where the main event of WMXX was instead a tripple threat between Sal, HBK and Max Moon, with the Stalker Barry Windham as special guest referree. Other thoughts on forgotten gimicks?
Oh, and lest I forget, it just occurred to me that Jack Evans is an embarressment to wrestling. The "Prince of Parkland" makes Marc Mero seem competent.

How the fake Diesel and Fake Razor Ramon never won gold in their own right is beyond me. Heck, if you really concentrated (or had glaucoma) they looked just like Kevin Nash and Scott Hall.

Speaking of gimmicks, if Koko B Ware can get into the Hall of Fame, how do you keep anyone out of it? Even when I was 8, I realized Koko was a joke. If the Birdman goes in, Doink the Wrestling Clown and Skinner should soon follow.

Who would have thought the Hall of Fame would have Koko B Ware before Randy Savage--pathetic

I agree that Koko does not belong anywhere in the same neighborhood as Steamboat, Flair, and all the other wreslting HOFers..Savage should have been in along with Yokozuna

    1. Koko getting in is because Vince wants as many of his 80's stars in the Hall, plus Koko is from Lawler Country (Tennessee). 'Nuff said.

    2. Insofar as I know, whatever the rumor is involving Savage and a young Stephanie is the stuff of, well, urban legend. That they're finally releasing a DVD retrospective of ol' Capt. Constipation (just listen to him talk-you get the idea) says something about him finally going in. Maybe he went to church and asked for penance?

I wish. No, I'm just Mike Tenay's intern. Occasionally he loans me to Don West so I can help him sell factory sets and wax packs for unbelievably low prices. Just last night we sold a complete set of '94 Fleer Ultra USA Basketball with a complete set of insert subsets for only $145!

Hilarious post. I bet TNA's ratings would cross the 1.4 threshold on a consistent basis if they had Don West pandering some 1990's ball cards at the end of each quarter hour.

Good to have you aboard, you have definitely made it interesting around here--I never thought I would enjoy the postings of a Hart family basher, but I am mistaken.

Teddy Hart is a heckuva wrestler though.
