Sr altered patch on e-pay
Wanted to give everyone a heads up on a Sr patch that has been listed....

I don't like this guy. Check out his feedback history at what he has sold. EVERYTHING he has sold is multicolored. I wish I had this guys luck pulling stuff. 6 color this, 5 color that, another with 4 colors. ridiculous

I called press pass and they said that they did produce those and theres now way to know if its been doctored unless they have it in hand. They further said if you are the buyer, send it in and it is a fake they will replace the card with something like it but not that particular card.
Leaves me scratchin' my head wonderin why they wouldn't pursue it any further than that.
With all his so called GOOD cards I wonder if he work's or worked for press pass at one time, and scammed the cards from them. Theres just no way anyones got that kinda pullin' luck.

I sent Press Pass scans to show the patch that was used to alter the card...same as I posted on here and NUTS...got a very disappointing response...basically the same you received ....if there had been a multi color Sr suit from the following years I would either own it or know one of the 3 people that would ...the following years have never had multi color Sr suits...97 ,99,2000,2001,2003....and to add to this...none of the other driver collectors have seen any 99 of any driver mutli color........don't know what more proof is needed....they have great CSR people but not impressed with their willingness to protect the hobby from clowns like this guy and the crook that cuts holes and die stamps cards...

Being one of the men who was instrumental in really lauching the collectibles market he must be rollin over in his grave to see stuff like this happening, I bet if he were still around it would be something he'd get involved in putting a stop to.

so everyone is aware I just dropped stupid money in order to prove a point....
when I get the altered card in hand I will post up a clean well magnified scan of it...and will let you know what happens from there....
oh and so everyone is more aware of future headaches...
I found the seller that has the very patch that is on the 1999 Sr fire suit....

be sure to check the sellers other auctions....I have a bad feeling we will be seeing some of these patches on cards in the future...
