Won't matter - ECF's won't go to 7 games Celtics like using brooms, I believe

And a year makes a difference! Last year was also the first year that Pierce, Allen and KG all played together.

When was the last time they used these brooms that they like using? Plus...like you said, a year makes a difference. This year we have Mo Williams, Delonte is much better this year than he was last postseason,
Varejao is getting better, and Lebron has added another years worth of experience and skill.

Alright, so the brooms was wishful thinking, considering they haven't swept since the Bird era....

And yes, a year does make a difference - but, this is Mo's first season in Cleveland - and yes, the Celtics won in their first season with the big 3 together, but that is very rare. The Cavs are by far a more lethal team this season than they were last, but I don't think they have the "gusto" needed to get past the Celtics, especially after 2 other playoff series, against a much tougher eastern conference this season compared to last. Celtics have a year of playoff experience together - Cavs have a new, vital, piece in Mo. If this was Mo's second season in Cleveland, I'd probably be sweating a bit more, but, alas, it's not and I'm not

Marbury didn't lose the game for them. The Bucks just absolutely shut down Pierce and Ray and even Rondo on offense. Only Celtic that could get things going was Perkins because he was just bigger than anyone else on the court.

LMAO you're kidding right? I never said the Bucks were dominant defensively, but they still held Boston to a season low and kept Pierce, Allen, and Rondo in check. That says something about the Bucks

I don't know many teams that aren't defensively dominant that can "absolutely shut down" three stars..........

You'll care if Game Seven of the ECF's is in Cleveland, where Boston stands no chance.

And if I recall, it was pretty big last year....home court was the only reason Boston even made it out of the first or second round.

I think you're putting a little to much importance on home court. It's not like Boston is utterly incapable of winning there. I mean we may not have won there this season, but it's not like you blew us out by 40 or something.

May I remind you the Celtics did not win an away Game until the 3rd round of the playoffs last year.

    ????????????

    You're kidding right????

Did you even watch the game? Probably not since you're one of the bandwagon Celtics "fans" on this board

Allen, Pierce, and Rondo combined for 8-36 shooting....that's 22%!!!! If you would have seen the game it was mainly Mbah a Moute, Bell, and Bogans guarding those 3. Arguably the 3 best defensive players on the Bucks.

I never said the Bucks were a dominant defensive team. And it doesn't even matter if they are or aren't! We are talking about the game they just played, and in that game the Bucks shut down Rondo, Allen, Pierce and held the Celtics to a season low 77 points while forcing a season high 25 turnovers. That says something about how the Bucks played the Celtics for THAT particular game!

P.S. Did you just call Rondo a "Star" as well??? WOW.....

I'm jumping in here, only on one comment though - the rest is pointless to argue...lol

Rondo=star, yes. Have you watched him this season? He is very good - one of the only pure pgs in the game, and a dang good one at that.

No, Rondo is not a star. Is he a good player right now and can he improve in the future and perhaps become a star player? Certainly possible. But you need to have consistency to be a star player. And right now Rondo is not consistent at all.

Rondo would be put in the same class as some other young up-and-coming PG's (i.e. Sessions, Conley, Westbrook) None of those 3 guys are stars either, just good players like Rondo is

LOL. Yep. I'm on the Bandwagon. Don't worry about the fact that my whole family lives in Boston and I've visited frequently my entire life.....You're obviously trying to turn this into a personal discussion, and I'll tell you right now, I WILL NOT sink to your level. Throw stones if you want........

    BACK ON TOPIC:
Yes, Rondo is a star. He is 6th in the NBA in APG with 8.4, and he has 11.4 PPG to go along with it.
