    Shop sales and use coupons. If you do it right, brand name items may be cheaper than store brands.

    Save money?....What does that mean?....I have a daughter in college and a 15yo son that needs a car....Being a good parent is expensive..wouldn't trade none of it though

    If you got the space grow a garden of your favorite veggies.
    Allot of it can be canned or frozen.

    Baking your own desserts in batches and freeze some will save you some money as well. Just freeze and take out as needed.

    I watch allot of the food network show especially elton brown which I always learn something new on his show even space saving tips.

    tell your 15 yr old to get a job i had to work for my first car and had to pay my own insurance, gas, repairs etc.

    as far as saving $$ i turn off my strip outlet which has tv dvd vcr receiver etc plugged into it when not in use and unplug appliances when not in use.

    save money - i have a part-time job for the weekends, i put 50% to savings.
    of course, i'm young, so it is possible for me to save that much of each check, but hey, its saving eh?

    I've been cutting back on buying cards, and not going out to the bars as much. My g/f and I eat at home at least 5 days a week, which is cutting back from where we like to go too eat. I will be soon taking my motorcycle to work which gets 70mpg, better than my car that gets 35.

    I had to do those same things you did as a kid, but that is why I work so hard, to make it where mine don't have to....That explains why you wanted to trade me a $50 card for a $275 card the other day Lean times man, lean times.
