    Badgers in the NHL

To say the University of Wisconsin is making a large impact in the NHL is an understatement. Consider the following facts about these Badger alumni...
Davis Drewiske was recalled to the Los Angeles Kings and has played the team’s last three games starting with March 20 at Pittsburgh

Ottawa goalie Brian Elliott recently set a franchise record with eight consecutive victories for a rookie goaltender

Among the Phoenix Coyotes’ top plays of the year, two are from former Badger Kyle Turris

And finally, Joe Pavelski’s San Jose Sharks and Brian Rafalski’s and Chris Chelios’ Detroit Red Wings continue to battle it out for the NHL’s top regular season team. Both are tied with 107 points, though San Jose has a game at-hand on Detroit.

    Heatley was a given......

I also saw that McBain, the WCHA player of the year as a junior, just left school and is now playing for the AHL's Albany River Rats.

That's a really cool little fact there, I didn't know any of those guys played @ Wisconsin. Michigan has some good players in the NHL as well, Camalleri (sp?) is tearing it up this year!
