Rodney Carney hits 7 three pointers asgaint phili. continues prove himself...
Rodney Carney was finally placed in the starting line-up which looks like will be for the rest of the season.
in his first game as a starter, he went 7 for 8 from the three point line, and ended up with 21, points, and was the team leader.
im happy that he got the chance and followed through on it because he really deserves it and needs his potential to be seen. if only he didnt do it vs phili.
hopefully he gets a chance at the dunk contest next year if they play him more. maybe he can use wade as his assist player ;).

Fantastic game by him, but what makes you say he'll be the starter for the remainder of the season? I doubt Gomes would be benched for the rest of the year, as he's been the best player with Big Al out...maybe they would do a Smith/Gomes/Carney frontcourt, but then that means benching Love, who's also been playing very well...maybe you know something I don't?

I don't know if he'll start the rest of the year. Yesterday was just because they decided to bench the whole starting lineup

Fluke, with Brian Cardinal - Kevin Ollie - and Bobby Brown <-- WTH, in the starting lineup somebody has to score. Brad Lohaus could put up those numbers!

Not a fluke - he's good! He's got alot of room for improvement, but he's a good player.
I read that the reason the starters were benched, and the benchers started, was because of the comeback the bench had against the Thunder last Sunday - it was a reward.

clearly you dont know ANYTHING about basketball. and i mean it when i say ANYTHING. it doesnt matter who is in the line-up. the record for 3's since the NBA has began is 12 in a game and he hit 7. that is amazing. and it makes it even more amazing that he only missed 1 3.

Nice game for your boy Carney last night:
5pts, 1-5 3point shooting, 2-8 FG
Ouch!
I will send you every Rodney Carney card I have if he ever makes 7 3-pointers again in one game.
