James Posey ejected after throwing ball at ref
NEW YORK (AP)—James Posey was ejected from New Orleans’ game against the Knicks on Friday night in the fourth quarter after throwing the ball at referee Gary Zielinski.
Zielinski called Posey for a foul on an attempted rebound with 5:46. Posey grabbed the ball and fired it at Zielinski, standing behind the baseline, and hitting him in the right foot.

Hornets already have Peja and Chandler out with injuries. Now this. He'll be hit with a suspension for sure.

^ Yeah..from that video, it looks like he was sizing up the situation and taking his time to make a premeditated, bad throw. I can't imagine any pro is such a bad passer that he would take a few seconds to carefully make a very bad pass to a guy a few feet away from him, unless it was with bad intent. Posey is no point guard, but his aim can't be THAT bad. ; )
