Kobe was ill, apparently....shows that he's not Jordan, cuz MJ scored 38 in the NBA Finals while suffering from the flu....lol....sorry Kobe fans, had to

Bibby had a great game! 21 points is awesome! Even better since he's on my fantasy team!

Kobe sucked it up pretty good today. But...he is still the MVP right?

It doesn't matter that the Lakers lost today. They don't need to have home-court if they would make it to the Finals against the Cavs. As for the Hawks, they will get smoked by the Sixers in the first round of the playoffs.

Good teams lose to bad teams often, when there's 82 games there's bound to be a slipup (Cavs, Celtics, Magic have lost to bottom feeder teams this year). And the Hawks are a midlevel team.
Before Lakers/Cavs fans label me, i'm not a Lebron/Kobe hater.
And in the words of KG "Anything is possible."

Bibby played well because the Lakers' one real weakness is at point guard. Fisher is old, Vujacic plays no D, and Farmar is inconsistent/injured. If anyone is going to beat the Lakers come postseason time, they will have to attack the point position. They won't be able to outplay Kobe and a frontline led by Gasol.

Unless your frontline has Kevin Garnett, who severly outplayed Gasol in the finals last year! :-)

I watched the game online and it was dreadful.
The bench really needs to step up especially Farmar and Sasha. They were turning the ball over way too often.
And early in the game, Kobe & Gasol got into a quick foul trouble.
Lakers are known for losing to bad or mediocre teams a lot (especially the Bobcats).
They are playing the Bobcats next, and Im kinda worried lol
Lakers are actually losing to the Bobcats in team history I think.
Anyway, Kobe wont be the MVP and unless Cavs choke to teams on the road (since no one can beat them at home other than the Lakers hehe), Cavs will get the HCA.
Maybe time to rest Kobe and Gasol for the playoffs?
