oh ok thanks, and i was actually questionable about sending to him since he probably isn't a huge fan of the yankees since they basically just dumped him and got a-rod

He signed my Yankee card with no problem. I am sure he will maintain his signing habits when he retires. In my letter I mentioned his 2003 ALCS homer and he signed. Just be courteous in your letter and wish him good health and I am sure he will sign for you...I hope.

so do you think i should save him for later after he retires? and i am sending it to mussina tommorow, and then i think i am going for larsen after that if it comes back, and then i think i am going for brosius he works at linfield college i think ill send it there and that might be enough signatures for that one, and i might make another one or something with the new stadium but i know that incidentis collecting a lot of mets and i think that this will be a really fun project to try to complete, once problem is though that i am only 15 and never got to see many of these players play. also sorry forgot to put this but is larsen $7 for one card or $7 for two because i think i should send him two because i dont want to risk it getting lost and not having an extra autograph of him

I feel your pain. I'm a fellow Yankee fan, and around the same age. It sucks to hear of all the history. I mean, i remember being 6 and hearing about the yankees winning in 1998. It sucks soooo much. :-/

that is a great project as I was thinking of doing something like this for the Phils. I got a custom index card of Veterans stadium for the old school players.
And another for the 08 WS champs.
Good luck on the mailings!
I sent to kevin Maas a few months back and havent heard a thing!

With Boone I would wait. Go with just pitchers on the pic for now since you have Geise and Coke. Try Moose, then put together the fee for Phil Neikro which I think is $15. Then try Jimmy Key, he signs. Larsen is another good one. If you have some extra cash Whitey Ford charges $40.
I have a huge poster of Yankee Stadium I picked up at Modells when I was in Manhattan last year. The project for that one is getting players who played at the Stadium to sign it. Good luck.

I dont think players are picky about the cards that they sign. I mean if you get about 100 requests a week, you wouldn't look at the cards, you would just sign
