Al Montoya's first game?
I was watching some sports highlights yesterday and they said that Al Montoya made his NHL debut. I was a bit confused because his rookie card came out in 05-06 and a player can't have a rookie card until he make an appearance in a NHL game. I looked at his stats and there are none regarding the NHL. Anyone know what's up?

These guys already got it.
For Upper Deck to be allowed to make a RC of a player..... Fowards and Defence have to play in a game. Goalies only have to dress for one (be the backup) to become eligable.

Montoya played well in his first game... even though he's no longer a Ranger, it was still good to see him get his first career start, win, and shutout.
